Guardian of the Inner Fortress

This project, though a bit arty and conceptual, proved incredibly helpful in disrupting the creator's negative thought patterns. They blew all their self-hatred into black balloons, making it something physical they could see and touch. From this, they created a superhero version of themselves—a guardian to protect them from those thoughts.

The set was made from balloons, and the costumes, headdresses, and accessories were designed to symbolise strength and protection. This process allowed them to visualise their negative thoughts leaving their body and being replaced by guardians, versions of themselves who stood to protect rather than harm with negative words.
